I made this song to commemorate
my two fallen brothers who I now
constantly see in the form of crows
at the strangest of times. R.I.P.

stem files were lost in a hard drive

"Two Crows"
(V1.)
Now in 1985 I met a new friend,
I thought he'd be around until the god damned end/
We pulled a lot of shit, we pranked a lot of fools,
Then he moved out east before we even started high-school/
Years passed & we crossed paths,
So we bought a bus pass & got lost in laughs/
Catching up reminiscing while we're visiting the city,
But then we lost touch cus of limited mobility/
I always knew that he had battled a sickness,
But never really went and stuck my nose in his business/
More years passed & our paths crossed once again,
Now my intention friendship never lost once again/
A new period, neither one inferior,
But little did I know still fighting old leukemia/
I thought he'd beat it if the truth be told,
Then he was stolen from the world at 22 years old/
(Chorus)
One crow, black crow,
Know you got my back crow
Never really knew crows,
Till' I seen you go
Everywhere I dare crow,
You are always there crow
The side of the road,
& outside my window crow
(V2.)
88' met another great friend where,
I used to partake in Friday night late benders/
He was a couple years older but we hit it off classic,
Find us peeking every weekend tripping acid/
We started rapping & jamming in two bands,
Always laughing & banging up new plans/
True fam who was game for whatever,
Even ended up living in a place together/
With a couple other buddies then we moved into another home,
Started up the Jones, he's on guitar I'm on the microphone/
Rocked shows with the burst for thirst,
Even wrote a song about our dead homie in the first verse/
Ran shit until we called it quits,
But we'd still get together for some drinks & spliffs/
Then we kinda lost touch but we still let loose
Next thing I know they found him hanging in a noose/
(Chorus)
One crow, two crows,
I know you souls
See you every season
On a tree or a goalpost,
Always got my back crows
Always talking back crows,
The side of the road,
& outside my window crows
(V3.)
I truly couldn't believe another brother was gone
Time to grieve, self medicate, commemorate in song/
I'd lost another acquaintance shortly after graduation,
We were never really close but still I felt the situation/
First dance with death I was affected,
Honoured him in music though we weren't really connected/
Not like the other two, who were like family,
Always in my thoughts & making visits to me randomly/
My only explanation why I only see a pair of them,
After my cremation hope I'm flying in the air with them/
Reincarnate re-born free souls,
But hope I'm grey and old before I'm seeing three crows/
(Chorus)
One crow, black crow,
Know you got my back crow
Never really knew crows,
Till' I seen you go
Everywhere I dare crow,
You are always there crow
The side of the road,
& outside my window crow
One crow, two crows,
I know you souls
See you every season
On a tree or a goalpost,
Always got my back crows
Always talking back crows,
The side of the road,
& outside my window crows
